Meet Our Director - Project Management

Ing. Osei Louis is a highly accomplished electrical engineer and renewable energy expert with over 16 years of extensive experience in energy systems, infrastructure maintenance, and sustainable technologies. As Director of Project Management at AOO Engineers and Contractors, he brings a strategic and solutions-driven mindset to the planning and execution of complex engineering projects across various sectors.

He has led and delivered high-value projects in substation design and construction, energy audits, efficiency optimization, and large-scale facility and industrial maintenance—executing contracts ranging from thousands to millions of dollars. His work spans both public and private sectors, underscoring his versatility and reliability as a project leader.

Ing. Louis holds a PhD (expected 2025) in Sustainable Energy Technologies, a Master of Engineering in Energy Systems Engineering with Management, and an MSc in Industrial Mathematics, all from KNUST. He also holds a Bachelor’s degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from All Nations University and a Project Management Certificate from GIMPA. His expertise is further enriched by a Certified Expert in Climate & Renewable Energy Finance (CECREF) from the Frankfurt School of Finance and Management.

Currently serving as Technical Advisor for Renewables and Green Hydrogen at GIZ, Ing. Louis is at the forefront of Ghana’s energy transition. His role involves policy advisory, capacity building, and spearheading innovative renewable energy projects in partnership with government institutions and industry stakeholders.

His previous leadership roles include Head of Electrical Engineering at the University of Ghana Medical Centre, Maintenance Manager at BOST/TSL Logistics Ltd, and Engineering Lead at the Electricity Company of Ghana.

A senior member of the Ghana Institution of Engineering (GhIE), Ing. Louis also serves on its standing committees. His recent upskilling in areas such as Energy Efficiency, Green Hydrogen, Design Thinking, and Information Security further positions him as a forward-thinking leader committed to delivering smart, sustainable engineering solutions for national development.
